Traveling together

to special moments in nature

Inspiration • Motivation • Experience • Adventure

Together with passionate nature photographer Marc Bovard, and in collaboration with Thomas Heitmar Photography & Publishing, I'm offering two new and unique photo tours. In a small group, we'll guide you to the most beautiful photo spots in Wales and along the spectacular north coast of Spain, taking advantage of the best light. The focus is on intensive photography, personalized guidance, and extraordinary landscapes. You can find all the information about the content, prices, and registration on Thomas Heitmar's website.

Wales is famous for the unparalleled beauty of its landscape: it has more castles and fortresses per square kilometer than anywhere else in the world, spectacular coastal scenery, idyllic beaches, lush green valleys with waterfalls and beautiful national parks.
Wales is a distinctive part of the United Kingdom, with its own character, culture, and way of life shaped over thousands of years. Wales feels authentic and unspoiled. The changeable weather – fog, dramatic clouds, and sudden bursts of sunshine – creates unique photographic opportunities and atmospheric scenes.

Northern Spain Spain's wild coast: rugged, rough and unforgettable
November 7th to 14th, 2027

The beaches of northern Spain on the Atlantic coast are distinctly different from the crowded Mediterranean shores. They are renowned for their wild, unspoiled nature and the rugged beauty of the Cantabrian Sea. The coasts of Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, and the Basque Country offer an enormous variety of wild, pristine beaches, dramatic rock formations, and a fascinating interplay of the tides, making them a prime destination for coastal photography. The constant ebb and flow of the tides creates a dynamic environment. At low tide, tidal pools and vast expanses of sand emerge, perfect for reflections and close-up shots (macro photography).

Located in the far north of Greece, near Bulgaria, the calm waters and peaceful shoreline of Lake Kerkini provide a year-round refuge for a variety of bird species, particularly the Dalmatian pelican. Indeed, Lake Kerkini has become famous for its population of these striking birds. The lake is arguably the best place in the world to photograph these remarkable birds, offering countless wonderful opportunities for shots ranging from intimate portraits to wide-angle views against breathtaking backdrops.

Dalmatian pelicans can be photographed year-round, but the winter months offer the most dramatic and fascinating photographic opportunities. The pelicans wear their magnificent plumage, and the winter light allows for breathtaking photographs.

Under this slogan, I offer two special photography tours in collaboration with Art & Adventure . I'll guide you to the Engadine Valley during larch season, where at the beginning of autumn, the golden larches compete with the white mountain peaks and the deep blue Engadine sky for brilliance. I'll show you the highlights and hidden gems of the Scottish Highlands and the wonderful Isle of Skye. With Art & Adventure, I have a partner with 20 years of experience in developing and conducting exquisite tours.

October 25 to November 1, 2026

On this trip, you'll follow in the footsteps of Braveheart, Harry Potter, and Jamie Fraser. Don't know who Jamie Fraser is? Millions of readers love Diana Gabaldon's Highland Saga (7 books). The film adaptations of her books, the TV series "Outlander," are equally successful, drawing huge audiences to their screens. Authors and TV producers know why they repeatedly choose Scotland—and especially the west—as a filming location and backdrop. The landscape, the weather, the light, and the history are unique. And of course, this region is also a dream destination for filmmakers and photographers, who will certainly get their money's worth on this tour. I'm delighted to be able to offer a special trip to this enchanting region in autumn, during the time of the changing leaves. I'm looking forward to leading this unique tour and showing you my second home in its most beautiful light. Curious? Click here for information and booking .

May 31 to June 6, 2026

Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, the majestic trio… wildly romantic mountain landscapes, tranquil mountain lakes and ibex up close. These are just some of the highlights of this photo tour through the Bernese Oberland's mountain summer.

The Bernese Oberland stretches from Bern to the Alps. Nine peaks over 4,000 meters encircle it, offering breathtaking views. Most summits are snow-covered year-round, their reflections shimmering in tranquil mountain lakes. Here you'll find everything that makes Switzerland so worth visiting: towering peaks, picturesque mountain villages, blooming alpine meadows, and of course, the king of the mountains, the ibex. Interested? You can find the detailed itinerary here.

October 11th to October 16th, 2026

At the beginning of autumn, the golden larches compete with the white mountain peaks and the deep blue Engadine sky. The Engadine is one of the highest inhabited valleys in Europe and stretches for more than 80 km. The Upper Engadine lake district between Maloja and St. Moritz, with its four large lakes (Lake St. Moritz, Lake Silvaplana, Lake Champfèr, and Lake Sils), will be our destination, as will the picturesque Val Poschiavo and the Albula Valley. I am delighted to be leading this special trip to this dreamlike region during the larch season and to show you the most beautiful places in my homeland. Curious?
