Welcome – Photography with passion

"Every walk through nature yields far more than one was looking for."

John Muir

This quote from the Scottish poet and pioneering conservationist expresses what I feel when I am out in nature.

Be it majestic peaks, roaring coasts, acrobatically climbing ibex, or the delicate details of a flower.

Awe, gratitude, and constant wonder at the beauty of our Earth. I would be delighted if my pictures could bring you closer to a piece of this beauty.

Since childhood, I have been fascinated by nature photographs, atlases, and books with stories about faraway lands. Whenever I read a book, I usually had an atlas next to me and looked up the location of the story on the map.

With the first money I earned myself during my training as a typographer, I undertook my first trips in Switzerland and neighboring Europe.

In the following years, I traveled to many remote corners of the earth, discovered a passion for diving, and thus also explored the underwater world. One country, however, has captured my heart in particular... Scotland. I love this rugged, stark land with its magnificent landscapes, its mystical history, and the warmth of its people.

My camera was always with me when I traveled – initially, I mainly took vacation snapshots in automatic mode. It wasn't until about twelve years ago that I began to seriously delve into photography. I learned the basics, attended workshops, and developed my own style through experimentation. Today, photography and travel are my great passions – and also my profession. As a freelance nature photographer and tour leader, I'm always searching for that special light and extraordinary atmosphere. My focus is on landscapes and wildlife. My feathered friends hold a particular fascination for me. Birds captivate me with their diversity, their behavior, and their close connection to their habitats.

I have already successfully participated in national and international competitions and am a member of the board of the Swiss Nature Photographers Association (NFS).
